Getting There Open the File Finder by pressing F9.
Description The file finder allows you to place a search using one search term such as file number, buyer seller etc.
Type your search in the search bar seen at the top of the window.
Search Fields: You can choose to search by a certain field. Fields are shown above highlighted in red. Select the field you wish to search in by clicking it. Each time you click, your search changes between ascending and descending orders (the way the list around your search result appears.) The area highlighted in blue shows what your current search filters are.
The Name Tab: You can toggle to the name tab at the top of the page (shown in blue) and begin to search names of buyers and sellers. The search fields work the same way they did in the "Standard" tab.
Menu options: The Menu gives you three options: Close, Goto File, and Refresh.
The "Auto Goto" Function:
When you check the "Auto Goto" box, every time you select a name in the File Finder window, the Order Grid "snaps to" the same file in the background. See the illustration below. You can also double-click one the file in the finder and the same "snap to" will happen. Pressing Shift + F9 will take you back to the file (in the Order Grid) that you had highlighted before you opened the file finder, the finder will remain open.
The "Add Name to current file as a..." Function:
These buttons add the selected name in the File Finder window, to the selected file. Just click the button to either add highlighted name as a Buyer or Seller respectively. |
